Sala del Consejo Superior Universitario de la Universidad Nacional de Itapúa (UNI) se realizará la presentación denominada “UE y UNI: Experiencias de Impacto”, con la presencia del Embajador de la Unión Europea en Paraguay, Paolo Berizzi.

27th March 2019 – MISIONPY Application, developed within the UMETECH project, was presented by UNI to Senator and Local Authorities in order to implement a Smart Tourism Center in the Mission of Jesus de Tavarangue.
11 -12 June – Itapua
In the first morning in Encarnación (Paraguay) we had a meeting with the students of the University of Itapua. In the afternoon we visited the Jesuit mission of santissima trinidad (enthusiastic guide, nice company). Finally for dinner, a VIP restaurant with songs and dances!
On June 12th the Itapua University held the first OID. Baecchi and Ferracani from Unifi talked about NEMECH (new media for Cultural Heritage) and the staff form Itapua presented the app to recognize the photos of the mission above. Then, the competence center was inaugurated.
13 June OID – Misiones
The friendly staff from Misiones showed us the competence center: they developed three interesting applications: the first with the dumbbells for immersive virtual reality, the mobile application, which is also immersive, allows you to navigate between 3D views of the same mission, pointing to interactive areas through the movement of the phone. Then there was an application to reconstruct three-dimensional objects by scanning.

The Open Innovation Days were planned on 12-13 October 2017 in Lima, Perú and Cordoba, Argentina.
The planning process started planning on july, when the decision of making two dissemination programs in Lima and Cordoba was taken. The program was outlined and the decision of making a two day event was taken: There would be a public event on October 12 and a member’s meeting on October 13.
The Open Innovation Day was first announced to UMETECH members on july 7th. UIGV started inviting stakeholders and drafting the agenda for both days. Several possible stakeholders werw invited to do speeches on the afternoon of the first day and it was planned to do two focus groups on that afternoon session too.
By September the first tentative program was delivered to the project management, including the list of stakeholders which would do speeches on the afternoon session; which were: Municipalidad de Lima Metropolitana, Zona Arqueológica de Caral and Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Piura.
Universidad Provincial de Córdoba (Argentina) made a presentation of the competence center and of the project of 3D reconstruction “Modelado de la Estancia La Candelaria”. Universidad Nacional de Misiones (Argentina) also did a presentation about their competence center and of the project they will develop. Universidad del Este (Paraguay) and Universidad de Itapúa (Paraguay) also did presentations about their competence center and projects.
