The university is located in the former territory of the Guarani Jesuit missions, and the emblematic Iguazú falls, located in a National Park.
Both estates are Unesco’s world heritage and generate great attraction of international tourism. However, today this area requires a strengthening of the capacities of vulnerable sectors such as young people and women to take advantage of the emblematic Guaraní Jesuit heritage and existing biodiversity.
This has motivated our adhesion to the UMETECH project to constitute a center of competence in our headquarters
