Paolo Mazzanti graduated in Theoretic Philosophy in 1999 from the University of Florence. He postgraduated  in “Master in Multimedia Content Design ” in 2001 and in “Master in Planning and Communication of Cultural Heritage ” in 2007 at the same University. He works under a research grant at MICC Media Integration and Communication Center of the University of Florence. His research interests are on graphic/web design, multimedia applications and digital media tools for user interaction, cultural heritage digitization, creative ideas for museum learning and user engagement, new media for cultural heritage.
He is NEMO – The Network of European Museum Organisations associate member representing MICC and is part of NEMO’s working group network LEM – The Learning Museum.

Andrea Ferracani

Andrea Ferracani postgraduated from the Master in Multimedia Content Design of the University of Florence in 2004. He’s working under a research grant at the Visual Information and Media Lab at MICC, the Media Integration and Communication Center of University of Florence.

His research interests focus on multimedia, social network analysis,  intelligent web applications, human computer interaction, natural interfaces.

Lea Landucci

Lea Landucci received her master laurea in Computer Engineering at University of Florence in 2004 and received her Ph.D. degree in 2008. She is a postdoc researcher at Media Integration and Communication Centre of University of Florence. Her research interests are on Human Computer Interaction, cognitive psychology and user experience, especially in the field of Cultural Heritage.

Alberto Del Bimbo

Alberto del Bimbo is the author of over 350 publications that were published in some of the most prestigious journals and conferences of computer vision and Multimeda. He has been the coordinator of many research and industrial projects at the international and national level.

He was the Program Chair of ICPR 2016 and ICPR 2012, the IAPR Int’l Conferences on Pattern Recognition, and ACM Multimedia 2008; he was the General Chair of ECCV 2012, the European Conference on Computer Vision, ICMR 2011, the ACM Int’l Conference on Multimedia Retrieval, ACMMM10, ACM International Conference on Multimedia, and IEEE ICMCS 1999, the Int’l Conference on Multimedia Computing & Systems. Presently, he is the Editor in Chief of ACM TOMM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications and Associate Editor of Multimedia Tools and Applications, Pattern Analysis and Applications journals.

Prof. Del Bimbo is IAPR Fellow and the recipient of the 2016 ACM SIGMM Award for Outstanding Technical Contributions to Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications.
